John Horne is adjunct professor of guitar and jazz studies at Ohio University. A native of Pittsburgh, PA he holds a B.M. from Duquesne University in jazz guitar performance. In addition to his responsibilities at Ohio University John performs regularly, runs a private teaching practice in Athens, Ohio and has taught for National Guitar Workshop, Ohio Arts Council, Artsbridge, Jorma Kaukonen’s Fur Peace Ranch, Athens Community Music School, TrueFire.com, and has contributed to Acoustic Guitar Magazine.
